From newspaper clipping-services for G.E.(Jack) Rainey, 31,of 3004 East
Fourth Street,will be held at the Lucas Funeral Home at 3:00 o,clock,with
burial at Mount Olivet Cemetary. Rainey was driving a sedan and was in
route to Birdville,and Parvin was in a gravel truck. The crash tookplace
at a curve near the old Cynthia Ann Parker Cementary, three and half
miles east of Bidville. Loose chat on the road is believed to have caused
one of the machines to skid. The men were picked up by passing motorists
and brought to a hospital here. they died shortly after reaching the
hospital. Rainey was employed by a gravel company near Hurst and was on
his way to Birdville for lunch when the crash took place. He is survived
by his wife,five daughters-Georgia, Emma, Dora, Bobbie and Lily Mae.----
